Representing and Advocating the Interests of the Multifamily Rental Housing Industry

 

 

The Southwest Louisiana Apartment Association provides a wealth of important information and training for multifamily industry professionals. A membership with us automatically provides membership in NAA (National Apartment Association). Through SWLAA, you’ll have access to educational resources, monthly events, the Internet-based Blue Moon Lease, and a monthly newsletter. SWLAA members can also utilize NAA insurance options, including general liability, property, umbrella liability, director and officers liability, employee benefits, mold liability coverage, health insurance, and terrorism insurance.

Membership in the Southwest Louisiana Apartment Association provides valuable networking opportunities through events such as luncheons, golf tournaments, business exchanges, educational classes, Awards Banquets, and appreciation events. Become a sponsor of an event and you’ll have numerous opportunities, such as being the sole vendor addressing the SWLAA membership and distributing materials about your services at a General Luncheon. Sponsor a booth at a trade show and you’ll be able to connect with a great number of members. There are opportunities to sponsor a multitude of SWLAA events, including Educational Classes or even Board Meetings.

The Apartment Association of Louisiana (AAL) has seven affiliates throughout the state, which houses over 304,000 residents, contributes $18.7 billion dollars into the Louisiana economy and supports over 106,000 jobs.

Each affiliate is committed to offering superior professional service and education to its members. A variety of classes are offered by each affiliate during the year that range from fair housing, legal and much more to keep members well educated in every aspect of property management.
